SALTY SHORE RIDERS - BRIDGEWATER CHAPTER

WELCOME TO SALTY SHORE RIDERS RC
THE BEGINNINGS

In 2012, SALTY SHORE RIDERS rc was founded when a group of individuals decided to turn their shared interests into an official Riding Club. After a couple of quick meetings, we were on our way to creating something extraordinary.

With time, we’ve grown into a more serious and mature organization, allowing us to take our interests to new levels. When you decide to join us, you too will gain access to various events and, more importantly, to a community of people who are just as passionate as you are.

SALTY SHORE RIDERS - CAPE BRETON CHAPTER

A UNIQUE MOTORCYCLE RIDING CLUB

For nine years, known as the Brotherhood of Bikers RC, in 2021 we decided to change our name to the Salty Shore Riders RC. With members across the province, we are a non-profit, family-oriented riding club whereby the members get together to ride, enjoy the open air and each other’s company.  Beyond this, the Salty Shore Riders are committed to raising money to help non-profit organizations that will make a difference in the lives of others, with our main focus on children and youth. We are not an MC Club, but we do support clubs by attending rally's and events.

The Salty Shore Riders strive to maintain common courtesy among all riders by keeping the "OLD SCHOOL" traditions alive and well. Our word or handshake is our bond.  We respect all of the other clubs and the patches they wear.  We support the independent biker community, friends, neighbors, and local businesses.  We honor our troops and appreciate the sacrifices they have made for us.  We are brothers and sisters of the road, and no one is left behind.  We are not "brand specific”, and ALL brands of bikes are welcome.

We do not PROSPECT or PROBATE. Our patches are bought, not earned. We wear a large Salty Shore Riders patch along with a RC patch on our back and a small Salty Shore Riders patch on the front upper left side of our vest.

Even though we have a 2 Presidents, decisions are made by the membership of the club. We currently have 2 Salty Shore Rider Chapters in Nova Scotia, one in Cape Breton and one on the Bridgewater. We have members in Dartmouth, Halifax, Peggy's Cove, Kentville, Digby and as far as Barrington Passage.

Our success in being able to fulfill our goals comes from the generous donations made by companies, businesses, and individuals as well as the public who support our efforts in raising the funds. To all the above mentioned, we are truly thankful.  The hours of hard work and planning to bring these events together are well worth it when our donations are so humbly accepted.

OUR MISSION:

  • To promote courtesy and respect among all riders no matter what brand or model they may ride.

  • To continue to teach and learn the style of those who went before us known as.... OLD SCHOOL. We owe them for paving the way, setting the standards and the sacrifices made and making our ride safer for us. They broke the trail for us and now it is up to us to keep it alive.

  • To promote a better image for those who ride whether they wear a patch or not.
